Evangelos Maragkoudakis is a PhD candidate at the Department of Turkish and Middle Eastern Studies of the University of Cyprus and holds a Master’s degree in International Relations, Security and Strategy. He is an approved Occupational Safety Consultant by the Department of Labour Inspection (EXYPP), an expert in Physical Security issues and an instructor approved by the Chief of Police for training and education of Security Guards as well as an approved Safety Officer of Sports Clubs by the Cyprus Sports Organisation. He is also a trainee Inspector for ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 systems. In the past he has worked as an A&Y Technician in Units of the Board of Directors. He has worked, among others, as  Operations Manager – A& Y Officer in security service companies and as a Personal Protective Equipment Specialist & Training Manager. Today he is the Director of EM General Safety Solutions, providing specialized services and products in the field of both physical safety and occupational safety and member of the Board of Directors of the Cyprus Safety and Health Association.
