Christos Petridis holds degrees in Civil Engineering and Environmental Engineering, as well as postgraduate qualifications from the United Kingdom in the field of Safety, Health, and Environmental Management. He possesses a strong academic background, which he combines with extensive practical experience in the highly demanding construction sector, where safety is a critical factor for the sustainability and quality of projects. He is an approved Occupational Safety and Health Consultant accredited by the Department of Labour Inspection (External Services for Protection and Prevention – ESPP). For the past six years, he has consistently performed the duties of Safety and Health Coordinator, making a substantial contribution to legislative compliance, the reduction of workplace accidents, and the development of a strong prevention-oriented safety culture. He is a member of the Cyprus Scientific and Technical Chamber (ETEK), the Association of Civil Engineers (SPOLMIK), and the Cyprus Safety and Health Association (CYSHA). In addition, he has participated in international seminars and specialized training programmes in the field of occupational safety and health.
