About us

Evangelos Maragkoudakis is a PhD candidate at the Department of Turkish and Middle Eastern Studies of the University of Cyprus. He holds postgraduate degrees in International Relations, Security and Strategy, as well as in Business Administration. He is an approved Occupational Safety Consultant accredited by the Department of Labour Inspection (External Services for Protection and Prevention – ESPP). He specializes in Physical Security and is a certified trainer approved by the Chief of Police for the training of Security Guards. He is also an approved Safety Officer for Sports Clubs, accredited by the Cyprus Sports Organisation (CSO). In addition, he is a trainee auditor for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 management systems. He has worked, among other roles, as an Operations Manager and Health & Safety Officer in private security service companies, as well as a Specialist and Training Director in Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). He currently serves as Director of EM General Safety Solutions and holds the position of Secretary of the Cyprus Safety and Health Association (CYSHA). 

Christos Petridis holds degrees in Civil Engineering and Environmental Engineering, as well as postgraduate qualifications from the United Kingdom in the field of Safety, Health, and Environmental Management. He possesses a strong academic background, which he combines with extensive practical experience in the highly demanding construction sector, where safety is a critical factor for the sustainability and quality of projects. He is an approved Occupational Safety and Health Consultant accredited by the Department of Labour Inspection (External Services for Protection and Prevention – ESPP). For the past six years, he has consistently performed the duties of Safety and Health Coordinator, making a substantial contribution to legislative compliance, the reduction of workplace accidents, and the development of a strong prevention-oriented safety culture. He is a member of the Cyprus Scientific and Technical Chamber (ETEK), the Association of Civil Engineers (SPOLMIK), and the Cyprus Safety and Health Association (CYSHA). In addition, he has participated in international seminars and specialized training programmes in the field of occupational safety and health.

Dimitrios Nikolaou is an approved Occupational Safety and Health Consultant accredited by the Department of Labour Inspection (External Services for Protection and Prevention – ESPP), a Lead Auditor for ISO 14001, a Level 5 trainer certified by the Human Resource Development Authority (HRDA/AnAD), and a certified First Aid at Work Trainer (FAWT – ISO 17024). He is currently pursuing postgraduate studies in Information Systems and Digital Innovation and holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration. He has extensive professional experience in the management of occupational health and safety systems, with a strong focus on compliance with ISO 45001, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 standards. He has worked as an Occupational Safety and Health Officer at Skyserv (Cyprus) Ltd and has also served as Director of Safety and Health in the National Guard. 
He is a retired Brigadier of the Hellenic Armed Forces, with specialization in materials management and supply chain logistics.
